nevin & fred

Nevin Adams and Fred Reish are 401k Industry Icons. Their names synonymous with professionalism and expertise. When they combined forces to create the Nevin and Fred Podcast their instincts lead them to replace the button up reputations they had established and instead share with the audience a more candid, authentic approach that would invite playfulness, humor and even fun into their conversations.

How could they communicate through logo, brand and content that this podcast was not the typical financial industry version that you would expect?

brand development

Inspired by the podcast’s jazzy music intro played by Fred’s son Freddy, we found a path that also communicated the old-school camaraderie of the experienced hosts. We drew inspiration from the 50s and 60s, Rat Pack Era. An illustration approach that pulled from Atomic Age/Jetsons type art. The logo, the content templates, and the overall aesthetic would be illustrative in nature. The cartoon elements would represent playfulness and the old-school era would hang on to some classy professionalism.
