Bay Area Health Insurance and Marketing is a long time Silicon Valley company looking to expand from offering group health insurance in the Bay Area into offering both group health and retirement plan services in both Northern and Southern California. They needed a new logo, product branding, sales collateral, email template and landing page to support the new offering.

It was going to be an uphill battle winning new 401k clients in Southern California when your business has both “Bay Area” and “Health Insurance” in the name. However, the client wasn’t willing to leave behind the strong reputation the company had earned over decades in business. It was decided treat the retirement plan side of the business as a separate product type and thereby allowing the use of a new name, while keeping the old intact. The acronym BAHIMI was already used by the company internally and was the perfect solution. BAHIMI RETIREMENT would now need its own message and brand. Low cost, reduced workload and client advocacy was at the core of BAHIMI’s solution.

Seventy5 Studios created a new logo that was an homage to the old, but modern and vibrant to reflect the enthusiasm of this new direction. The collateral and webpage intentionally matched and doubled down on a strategy that focused on what potential clients would want in the current marketplace as well as putting forward the company’s true commitment to service. Creating a design/concept that could grown with the company was important, giving them future options.
