It was going to be an uphill battle winning new 401k clients in Southern California when your business has both “Bay Area” and “Health Insurance” in the name. However, the client wasn’t willing to leave behind the strong reputation the company had earned over decades in business. It was decided treat the retirement plan side of the business as a separate product type and thereby allowing the use of a new name, while keeping the old intact. The acronym BAHIMI was already used by the company internally and was the perfect solution. BAHIMI RETIREMENT would now need its own message and brand. Low cost, reduced workload and client advocacy was at the core of BAHIMI’s solution.
